Bandai to sell toy case filled with 300 million yen

October 10, 2011

Bandai Co. will sell a duralumin case packed with 300 million yen ($3.9 million) for just 2,100 yen starting on Nov. 5, the company said.

The money in the case, of course, will be toy 10,000-yen notes in 30 bundles. Both the notes and their plastic cases will be one-sixth the real size.

The company plans to post about 600 ways to use the set, including gambling purposes, planning household budgets and making wishes to win lotteries or meet sales quotas, on its website (www.bandai.co.jp)
