I've lost count of how many times I've had the windshield wipers going on a rainless night.
Slightly off track but one of the irritations of driving in the left lane ala England and much of Asia, is having the turn signal and the wiper reversed. I spend the first two weeks in Asia turning on the wipers instead of signaling a lane change or turn and then on my return, I have the cleanest windshield in town for two weeks.
