I have heard reports of idiot Sabres fans trekking to Blue Jackets games (among other cities) causing problems ... to my mind, you don’t go as a visitor to another’s “house” and pull that crap — a ticket doesn’t entitle you. I’m sure there’s enough stupidity to go around, but with just the cost of attending a pro game, it’s a dumb waste of time, at least.

We were surprised, to say the least. Detroit fans are vocal, but very good-natured when they come here. We just never thought of Sabres fans being so wound up on the road, especially since the two teams only meet once a year.

It should get interesting if the Jackets go to the Eastern Conference next season.
