Hamilton smashes into the fence, rolls over, and comes up smiling — he caught the ball, too.

That one will make Youtube.

"Tigers going home tonight"

That is an interesting point.

Will they really go home tonight or stay overnight and go home tomorrow?
Will there be a jet waiting for them and save a nights cost at a hotel?

Brad Penny has been pitching for the Tigers (gave up Young HR etc). -—oops NELSON CRUZ AGAIN! HR #6... Tex up 15-4

Anyway I think there’s an expression “turning up like a bad
penny”—i.e., someone or something that seems jinxed or is just bad/ineffective, and there he is again. When he was with Red Sox I used to say to myself, “Brad Penny keeps turning up like a bad penny”

Adios Detroit and on to the Series.

LOL, my husband always referred to (former Red Sox pitcher) Brad Penny as "Bad Penny".

I'm happy that the Texas Rangers will be heading to the World Series... I hope they win it all! :-)

Hope the stinkin' Red Sox are home "enjoying" watching the series on TV...

I am a Gators fan too :>(, thankfully for my St Louis Cardinals are just a win away from the World Series! Game 6 and 7 are in Milwaukee so some cause of concern....
Go Cardinals!

Ok, I can now return to unabashedly rooting for the Rangers....good series...in the end...Texas just had a little too much offense for Detroit to handle.

Cable went out tonight so I missed it. Doesn’t sound like it was a good game at 15-5. Did anyone see when the ump went over and shook W’s hand. Bet the Huffington Post crowd will have a cow about that and the Michigan people will go crazy now.

Congratulations to the Texas Rangers! They deserved the win... classy team. We loved David Murphy and Adrian Beltre when they were on the Red Sox.

I hope the Rangers win the World Series as well.

I'm happy for Rangers' fans, too. My husband and I met quite a few Texas Rangers fans at Fenway Park last month... nicest fans we've ever met from an opposing team. But then again... they're from Texas. ;-)

LOL, there were probably many who used that nickname for Brad Penny! Maybe now Detroit Tigers fans call him the same name...

Red Sox fan cheering for Tex. though I do thank the Tigers for beating the Yankees! Det. has won it all before (WS), Tex. hasn’t. Besides, telling people I’m cheering for Team Dubya _annoys liberals_. Helluva job, Nolan....

LOL, we think alike, FRiend!

Lots of outfield errors. I mean little league type stuff but pressure and an endless season take their toll.

That’s baseball.
