Thank you for posting that photo. Look at Laura in the background. I didn’t see this I was busy with housework. Who are you for?

Red Sox fan cheering for Tex. though I do thank the Tigers for beating the Yankees! Det. has won it all before (WS),
Tex. hasn’t. Besides, telling people I’m cheering for Team
Dubya _annoys liberals_. Helluva job, Nolan....

In NL would prefer Milw. (first timers) but St Louis looks like they really have it together. Could be Tex-St L in WS
but you never know.
Tex. needs to put this away now in case Det. mounts a
comeback.

‘Welcome ... used to be big on the Tigers years ago, wouldn’t mind them here; but I’ll go with the A.L. winner in the Series.

7-2 with 1 out.

Tiger manager is on phone — pre-ordering pizza for their tv party to watch TX in the World Series.

TX is going to be worn out.

This is only the 3rd inning and they are up 9-2.

In AL beer contest, Lone Star now leads Stroh’s 7-2 (the other league is Bud vs. Miller, and though I drink Bud I’m
cheering for Miller). Tigers manage to get an out on the rundown.

Had the Red Sox not wasted some games in getting Tim
Wakefield his 200th win maybe they would have just made
the playoffs instead of Rays. However they still would have gotten beaten by the Rangers...oops 2 more runs score,
9-2 Rangers...anyway my prediction before season was
Red Sox making playoffs but not getting out of first
round. Red Sox, with beer-and-chicken-in-the-clubhouse-
during-games. New 8th inning song: instead of “Sweet Caroline”, “What Made Milwaukee Famous Has Made A Loser
Out Of Me”

Yeah liberal facebook friends got on me for cheering for TX
last yr (incl. WS, though Giants won). You can predict what they said: “Will they stop showing that stupid George W Bush during the game?”

Yes, so I do kinda feel bad for Tigers fans (but still cheer for Tex.) after that effort. Last game of season heard Red Sox loss then about 3 min later heard final of the NYY-Tampa game (Yankees were winning 7-0 at one point)—Tampa won so Red Sox were eliminated, no one game playoff needed.

Then about a wk later heard at work (again I work nights but not wknds) the Tigers beat Yankees. It was sweet, and I was
polite in informing some Yankee fans at work that the mighty A-Rod had struck out... but inside (!!!)

No need to. The Tigers have had a spectacular season with a no hitter, a Cy Young award winner, 12 game winning streak, an MVP award that could go to two different Tigers etc. Plus, in 5 seasons with Jim Leyland they've made the post season 3 times.

If you want to feel bad, feel bad for us Gator fans. Glad I chose to watch baseball over watching that horrible team.

Frankly; I’d enjoy watching the Tigers and Rangers butt heads the next couple of years...this has been a great series.

This game isn’t over anyway. The Tigers have a few 8 and 9 run innings themselves this season. In any case its been a great season so far.

I think I’m gonna finish watching this one from a prone position anyway. Good luck all.
