I thought Milwaukee was supposed to be unbeatable at home.

I note that ESPN's homepage is highlighting the (yawn) Lions-Bears game instead of that amazing game between the Rangers and the Tigers. They are in a snit because the Yankees and Red Sox are golfing, and they have to cover (barely) a team that is associated with (spit) George Bush.

Grow up, girls...hope to see the AL Central and West rule the roost for many years to come...

True, but the Cards road record wasn't anything to sneeze at, either...

>>Stern said both sides are “very far apart on virtually all issues. ... We just have a gulf that separates us.” ...With another work stoppage, the NBA risks alienating a fan base that sent the league’s revenues and TV ratings soaring during the 2010-11 season. And the cost of cancellations would be staggering. Deputy Commissioner Adam Silver said the league would lose hundreds of millions of dollars, while union executive director Billy Hunter estimated players’ losses at $350 million for each month they were locked out.

>>Now ushers, security personnel, parking lot attendants, concession workers, restaurant employees and others all stand to have their hours cut or join the country’s 14 million unemployed. A few teams also have already trimmed their staffs, and more layoffs could be forthcoming.

Tigers and Rangers tied at 1 each in the bottom of the 4th.

Beltre and Martinez both injured?

They showed him after the HR and he was running down the steps, throwing his helmet, not acting like someone who had just homered. Hope it is nothing serious.

The helped Beltre down the steps too.

At least the teams are staying even.
