TX should have changed pitchers (Holland) earlier than they did. Holland was behind the count from the opening.
TX should not have changed pitchers (Ogando) in the 9th.

Even dumber move for TX to load the bases in the 9th.
Are they wanting a 7 game series?

The American league has been so evenly matched in the post season that it isn’t even funny.

Now DET is walking one intentionally — and Cruz who has hit homers is up.
Cruz hit by the ball. He’s down.

a squeaker in both halves of the ninth...go ahead run at first nobody out top of the 10th
games 4 days in a row...all the pitching esp. Valverde and Feliz will be really taxed, as they say

Leyland put a position player on the mound to close a game with a big lead once this season. I can’t remember who it was but no runs scored that inning.

This is tough watching three games at once.
Pujols home run, 2-0 St. Louis.

After the game ends in Texas, everybody has to get on a plane and head to Detroit to play tomorrow.

"everybody has to get on a plane and head to Detroit to play tomorrow."
I think that is pretty cool. No problem here.
When I was in the minors many moons ago we used to have 14-16 hour bus trips, get off the bus and play sometimes.
Shrieveport is really close to nowhere.
BTW, Happy Columbus Day and Happy Canadian Thanksgiving Day.

That game turned into a nail-biter, but it had an OUTSTANDING ending.

Now we are down to watching one baseball, one football and Dancing With The Stars.

...so here's Cruz, standing at the plate with the bases loaded. Buck says "Texas could be on the verge of winning its fourth one-run game in a row." I turn to my wife and say "Not if he puts it over the fence".
Boomstick. Ring up four, please. 7-3, Rangers.

The Tigers big bats haven’t been there in the post season so far. Its all been the top and bottom of the order doing the real producing. If Cabby, Martinez, and Peralta get hot in the next game or two they’ll be trouble.
