Already settling on Cain.

Thing is, it wasn’t too late for Palin to join the race this week, and it’s not too late this weekend.

People change their mind sometimes.

My problem with that is that I really don't have a second choice. She was the only one who was up to the job, as far as I can see.

This isn’t about wanting. This is about what is best for her and her family.

Palin herself said in her announcement that she was concerned about doing the best thing for 1) God; 2) Country; 3) Family -- IN THAT ORDER. And I think she means it.

I really don't know how to go about drafting Palin, but I would love to see it happen. I like Cain, but I think we have a vacuum here, nonetheless.

As for the usual Palin haters who are appearing on this thread, if your candidate (whoever) is better than she is, then there's nothing to fear.

Meantime, I'm pretty much waiting to see what happens next. But this is certainly something to consider. And it has happened many times before, when the base wanted someone the Establishment didn't.
