In an announcement that's been four years in the making, former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice-presidential nominee, Sarah Palin, said she will not run for President of the United States in 2012.
Palin, who has been in the presidential limelight since 2008, made her announcement on the Mark Levin Show late Wednesday, saying, “I believe that at this time I can be more effective in a decisive role to help elect other true public servants to office – from the nation’s governors to Congressional seats and the presidency. We need to continue to actively and aggressively help those who will stop the “fundamental transformation” of our nation and instead seek the restoration of our greatness, our goodness and our constitutional republic based on the rule of law.”............

Likely they now realize that she is going to fix the stupid, spineless, gelded part of the Republican party before relying on it to truly support a genuine conservative candidate.
The cross-the-aisle Republicans won't be able to wait in the shadows, knives out, for their opportunity, anymore.

The first order of the day is to secure the secular aspect of one’s existence. We live in a secular society where religion is a private unspoken matter. We joust and feint in the secular arena to provide our loved ones with the freedom to do what they choose, in terms of religion.
When we put god or relatives above that secular contest, we put our god and our loved ones at risk! The future belongs to the god and followers who can win the day in the secular contest.
That is my opinion on all political and secular things.
- If you can’t live in your own country with certain necessary freedoms, then how the hell does god or family get any of your attention?
If God isn’t first on the list, nothing else is going to make a damn bit of difference in the long run.
And in the last election she worked harder than anyone else.
I wouldn’t blame her if she declined invitations from some of the same people who she supported in 2010. The willingness of so many in the Republcian party to hang her out to dry no doubt contributed to the decision she made not to run for the nomination.
It seems to me most Republicans were happy enough to let her be blamed for the shooting of Giffords, or for any of the insane accusations made against her in that lunatic’s book of fiction, etc.
Personally, as a Palinista for Life, I don’t have much interest in the discards now running for the nomination. As the late Howard Cosell once said, “I see nothing there.”
SP will continue to be a huge influence,and I am going to be sending any money I would have sent to her campaign to Sarahpac. I will include a note that asks her to support Herman Cain for President. No perry,No Mitt, no Newt,none of the others with the exception of Rick Santorum. Unless you want Romney to win, I suggest you do something productive, what you are doing now is not working.

I do believe that she will put her efforts into ridding the GOP of RINO’s and Corruption, while assisting in replacing them with TP candidates.
I imagine after her bus tour and her biopic, her numbers didn’t really move up very much.
Would you rather she run anyways, then bow out at a later date as dictated by low poll numbers so the left could hang the “quitter” tag on her permanently?
Or perhaps assure Obama of another 4 years?
The MSM will never allow Sarah Palin to get into the WH - they already have a history of doing whatever it takes to destroy her and would have made the last 3 years of attacks and smears look like compliments in comparison.
Maybe she decided to take a break from the daily bashing of her and her family, and living under a microscope and having the media hanging on every word, waiting for a gaffe that they could then run 24/7
Think about it - do you really think the MSM would give her anything that resembled fair coverage, or would they spend 24/7 in attack mode?
Perception is reality, and the Perception of Palin that the MSM has created would all but guarantee a 2nd Obama term.
They would attack Palin while propping up Obama as they would have to tear Palin down in order to make Obama look like a reasonable alternative.

I am leaning toward Herman Cain as well. I like that he is a business man and not a career politician.

Sarah, here’s a hint:
People who were interested in you because they thought you were gonna run for President. You did nothing to discourage that notion. In fact, quite the opposite.
You intentionally fed the flames with phrases like “Fire in the belly” “Fight like a girl” “Mama Grizzly” etc.
You could not possibly be so dumb that you didn’t know you were teasing people and wasting their time, money and energy.
People sent money to SarahPAC, bought your DVDs, promoted you, spent untold amount of time and energy on you that, as it turns out, was time WASTED.
That time, money and energy could have been spent promoting another conservative candidate.
There is no telling how far another conservative candidate be today, or even if another would have arisen if you weren’t hogging the limelight (like when you went to Iowa), and sucking oxygen out of the room.
You waited until there was NO TIME LEFT, and then your hand was forced. Now the ride is coming to an end, no more reality shows, sea of adoring worshippers, etc.
Now you act all chipper and happy, like no one should be disappointed.
Because now you are not “shackled” and actually (according to some twisted reality) think you have MORE influence than if you had with that shackling “title” of LEADER OF THE FREE WORLD.
