He has said he did not think she is running.
The Steve Jobs story trampled the Palin story today.
The decision not to run is a personal story, unlike the Chris Christie story where he is being courted by liberal Republicans. If you notice, Rush made THAT the point of his discussion, not the fact that Christie made a decision.
I would not be surprised to hear Sarah on Rush’s show soon, perhaps tomorrow. That would explain why there was no mention today.
Just a guess.
Probably because shes proven the critics right and us as suckers.
Shes in it for the dough.
New tagline 10/6/11 - The Day Palin Jumped The Shark
Because Rush’s audience is the most informed audience out there and he assumes they already know she’s not running and why. It was a personal decision and I’m sure Rush respects it and assumes we would respect it as well. What more is there to say?

“Why do you think Rush didn’t bring up Palin’s announcement that she’s not running for president?”
because it wasn’t really news
I thought it was a bit unusual myself. You would think that he would have at least mentioned it in passing. He didn’t take many calls today either.
Because it isn’t Monday, November 5, 2012 yet.
Oh my gosh, are there still Freepers on here that think she still might run, even after announcing she isn’t? If so you need to get help ...
Today was Steve Jobs day, just like I assumed it would be.
Rush seemed to hop on the Palin bandwagon early on (unusual for him) but then seemed to jump off and onto the Rick Perry bandwagon. I don’t remember him getting involved so early in 2008.
Well, the lamestream media have to find someone else to bash.
I guess that means it’s gonna be Bachmann...
Why would Rush mention it? He knows how her supporters are feeling today...so he has enough respect for them to give them time to recover from their loss and it is a loss to them. I realized 2 months ago Sarah wasn’t running and it took days for me to get over being absolutely crushed by that realization. I felt a huge loss from it.
media tweak of the day
Silly us. I mean, I get that Rush is an Apple guy. I like Apple stuff, too. But we thought that the conservative radio broadcaster of record might have something to say about, you know, a major breaking story in conservative politics.
for later
Did he not mention Ann Coulter not mentioning anything about Sarah Palin not saying she’s not running for president?
It’s pretty simple. Rush grew up, grew rich, and grew famous on hard-hitting conservative commentary on the news of the day, especially the political news. That doesn’t mean he can’t talk about computers or golf or whatever else as well, but that’s (ostensibly) what his audience is primarily there for. If he wants to do three hours on Steve Jobs and blow off breaking political news, there are local shows on the weekend where he can do that.
