Why do you think Rush didn't bring up Palin's announcement that she's not running for president?
media tweak of the day
Did you mean 10/6/11 in your tagline? tagline says 10/04/11
Silly us. I mean, I get that Rush is an Apple guy. I like Apple stuff, too. But we thought that the conservative radio broadcaster of record might have something to say about, you know, a major breaking story in conservative politics.
I'd say no to each of your questions......and just because it wasn't discussed today doesn't mean it won't be discussed tomorrow or next week or the week after.
Have patience my friend......LOL!
Why would Rush mention it?
Because he calls himself “America’s anchorman,” and he claims he’s the leader of conservatism in America. Almost every other host has talked about it.
because it wasnt really newsPrecisely. Yesterday's Paper
But before Rush launched into his unabashed, epic homage to Jobsian greatness to which he has always aspired--

We don't need no stinking votes if we got machetes and burning tires and the Brian Williams BBM behind us.

Not the first jackass rodeo.
That’s what call screeners are for.
So Rush should have talked about Christie announcing that he’s not running, because Christie gave a speech?
What?
I’m saying that there wasn’t much surprise here. It was just a matter of time before she had no choice but to make it official.
I see your point!
“Uhh...Maybe because it was a non-story?”
Sort of like how Ron Paul is running and that is a non-story.
Uhh...Maybe because it was a non-story?
“Sort of like how Ron Paul is running and that is a non-story.”
But Rush was a Palin admirer.
for later
Stay tuned for commentary.
Yes, I understand that, but if you take five calls as opposed to twenty-five, there's far less chance that a caller will slip in the "P" word. I find it more than odd that both Rush and--supposedly--his callers didn't want to talk about Palin today.
“That would be my guess as well. The story may have gotten a bit of press attention, but was hardly a revelation.”
Still I think he should have at least mentioned it in passing. That is strange.
And Christie’s announcement WAS a revelation???
“I find it more than odd that both Rush and—supposedly—his callers didn’t want to talk about Palin today.”
I’m beginning to think he just wanted to forget about it, to sweep it under the rug.
