***I Still Expect To Pull The Lever For Sarah***
Stardate: 1110.6

Posted on 10/06/2011 5:08:40 AM PDT by The Wizard

Because I posted this last night: ***Who Needs A Knife: Stabbed In The Back By Someone We Loved*** along with a few comments as to why I felt that way, I wish to hasten to point out my love and devotion to Madam President and all she stands for....

I, like many others, were deeply hurt by this unexpected announcement, and being so reacted in the way I did....

But For the record, I want all my fellow Freepers to know that I still back her 100%, and having slept on it, stand by comments made on my TV show: I will be voting for Sarah Palin in 2012 for President of the United States

You are free to vote or write in anyone that you want to, but if you vote for anyone other than the Republican (however bad they may be) you are actually using that knife to stab this country in the back.

Please take some time to rethink.

What is your TV show?

Public access kids show.

He wears a purple dinosaur costume, really cute.

And it becomes an irrelevant vote.

Even worse -- it might as well be a vote for Obama.

I wanted Sarah to run, and I'd prefer someone other than who we have in the field (I like DeMint), but I'm voting for the Republican candidate. If we end up with another Obama term, we're done. Period.

I’m pulling the lever for Millard Fillmore, even though he’s not running.

This Palin Cult of Personality is getting creepy.

Obama thanks you.

This.
If your willing to hand another term to O just so you can write in your beloved Sarah’s name, you need serious help.

WWSD? (What Would Sarah Do?) Sarah Palin will not be wasting her own vote by stubbornly writing in her own name -- she'll be casting her vote for one of the actual candidates. If you truly respect Sarah Palin and her judgment, you might follow her wise example.

Please keep repeating this message. We just can’t let “feelings” control this country.

OBAMA MUST GO!

It is more productive than any of the threads I see about the “real” candidates who are running.

So a self-pity-party is more productive?

I think we've hit a new low - you've just proven that ZerObama was right - we have gotten soft as a Nation. LOL

Eisenhower was more conservative than the Bush family or even his own Vice President atleast. And he was a great man who loved the USA.

LOL. Thanks...I needed that.

It's become surreal, hasn't it?

I’m not dumb enough to write in Palin’s namne if the state in which I vote looks like a close race in 2012 - we can’t risk another 4 years for 0bama. But if my state looks like a solid GOP win (or loss), will I write her name in? You betcha.

Do not forget all of California electors go to the winner of the popular vote. It does not matter where a vote is cast, a vote for Sarah is a wasted vote no matter where you are.

Its a shame she is not running, but she’s endured more scrutiny than anyone should. As a private citizen, perhaps she can rip the MSM a new a-hole.

Silly. After this, Palin will be out campaigning and urging others to vote for whatever candidate she gets behind. Vote for THAT, candidate, at least, so as not to waste your vote!

I’m sure it’s what she would want you to do ...

If Cain gets in, it sounds like he’s going to de-rock star the presidency anyway — like it needs to be. It’s become a position of WORSHIP for some people ...and it’s ridiculous.

“This Palin Cult of Personality is getting creepy.”

The cult aspect has been creepy from the get go.

It’s just blooming now. :)

It ought to be interesting to watch it unwind. There was this entire mythology about how she was shrewdly and cunningly just “waiting for the right moment”, etc.

I see someone above already found a face saver in that regard “God told her not to.”. :0

What can you say?
