Are you going to kill every bear until you get the right bear? They waited until the DNA evidence came in and put the bear down.

Their decision to not kill the sow grizzly after the first death could very well have cost John Wallace his life. It should have been put down after the first attack. After the first attack the bear then realized that humans are easy kills.
