Plus, lookit at the courtroom, the Italians have comfortable couches for people to sit in, instead of hard wooded pews like we do.

So she has to prove her innocence, huh? Well yeah, she was already convicted of the murder. To overturn that conviction requires an affirmative defence proving she didn't do it.

So you know Amanda Knox and her boyfriend are not guilty?
To: DesertRhino
All her early alibis turned out to be provable lies. Perhaps... but the prosecution's still got to make its case.

Hoping justice is served and she’s released. I don’t believe for one second she or her boyfriend did this.

Seems that all those reports have been pretty well discredited.

I don’t trust the Italian police because how good a job can they do if they are always trying to keep their hats from falling off???

“Personally, what I have learned out of this is that Italian justice can be anything but just. Some of the facts that have come out of the news coverage regarding the Italian police methods of interrogation, the lawsuits filed by police and prosecutors over statements by Knox and her parents, have shown me that I really never want my liberty to be in the hands of an Italian judicial system.
I have no opinion as to whether she is guilty or not guilty, but I do have an opinion on how corrupt the Italian legal/justice system is.”
If you go to Italy and don’t break their laws, you have nothing to worry about.

In an Italian court - yes she does. The courts have the presumption of guilt, and the defendent has to prove they are innocent. Opposite of the U.S. Or so I have read. I warned my son about this when he visited there this summer.
I lean that she is innocent. But I REALLY lean to the idea that this is a kangaroo system.

She has been found guilty and sentenced, do you think that after that you get to write a letter to the news media and say I am innocent and everyone gets together and says ok, we are sorry.

... was sentenced to prison with no evidence by a kangaroo court?IMHO, there's plenty of evidence. Ann Coulter provided much of it in her recent column - Amanda Knox: The New Mumia!
