Practice makes perfect.....post on....
I’m with ya on the wins this weekend! I was cheering for those union loving socialists from Wisconsin because I wanted Nebraska to get a great “welcome” to the Big 10(really 12). And the Pack is my team too! Not only a big win but record setting day for Aaron Rodgers
Dave is right, both are boiling. The difference is usually just boiling is plain water, maybe salted. Poaching involves seasoned water (except with eggs)
CJ what seasoning goes in the water to poach the pears?
what else is poached? is there some fish that is poached? the word poach just sounds sort of gross to me, doesn’t it?
and in truth, isn’t poached the same as PURLOINED? poaching off of someone else’s land, poaching from a wildlife preserve? isn’t poached really STOLEN? ; )
Purloined, poached, criminal, steelers - all the same word. ;^)
I like any team that beats Nebraska. My team imploded for the second week in a row. Rumor has it Oklahoma State called Arkansas at halftime and said ‘You have them right where you want them.’
OMG I just heard soundbites from the idiots protesting Wall Street. None look like they have EVER held a job. They don’t know how things work and many need a bath, desperately.
Well, our QB is hobbling.
The Steelers made great halftime adjustments in running backs and blocking schemes. The Texans either countered that or just wanted it more when it counted.
Oreilly sent jesse watters out to interview them last week and we just roared. they are by and large, incomprehensible, hideous and filthy.
you are so funny!
Yes, that hit big ben took in the end zone was a tough one - and he hobbled back into the game. I can give him credit for that.
There were a lot of good games yesterday. Seeing SF actually pull out a win against the Dream Team was exciting.
Some people put some vinegar in the water when poaching eggs. supposed to make them not stick.
You know whoever does the spell check for Google chrome is a Steeler-hater. It claims to not know the word “Steelers” or “Steeler.”
An extra day of practice wasn’t going to give him any more time to throw! ;-)
No, but it is still a distraction - too bad Romo isn’t being sued, he could use a distraction.
Is the entire world against your team? lol
He’s already paranoid about it.
I think more people dislike the Iggles.
Nothing else goes in the poaching water for pears. Fish can be poached, usually lighter stuff like tilapia or salmon. Eggs obviously can be poached. Poaching implies cooking in water that is simmering or at a low boil, as opposed to steaming which involves suspension over a bath of vigorously boiling water, or boiling in which the food is immersed in the boiling water like corn on the cob.
good explanation! i want to go to the CJ school of cooking!
