Good Ol' Mayor Bloomy is all concerned about people owning salt shakers and cigarettes, but when there is a real crime being perpetrated, the solution is getting women into burkas. Outrageous.

If the reaction was in response to the NYPD saying men shouldn't wear red ties, then the reaction should be just as strong. Criminals shouldn't decide how the rest of us dress. If the NYPD can't enforce that simple condition, the solution is an armed citizenry.

It should not have to take the NYPD to know that short skirts and immodest dress in general are an invitation to trouble. Our forefathers in this land knew better than to dress like drunken heathen. And its not just an Islamic thing. People can find in their Bibles condemnation of immodesty in clothing.

While women wearing short skirts shouldn’t be blamed, there is a certain amount of common sense required.
After a series of rapes in Ann Arbor, police suggested that women not be out wandering the streets alone at night. The NAGS went ballistic that such “misogynist” comments could come from city officials.
If it were me I would have issued a second statement. “Fine, you’re on your own. I suggest you arm yourselves.”

The warnings are being met with outrage, with residents saying police should be focusing on catching the suspects, not criticizing women for what they choose to wear.
This will happen when a Demwit who switched parties becomes hizzoner and happens to have a burst of common sense, strictly due to new associations.
