I think the primaries are being moved up to force Palin to declare sooner than she intends...

“I love her, but she has NO inention of running.”

I don’t “love her” but I will vote for her if she’s our nominee.

The universe does not revolve around Sarah Palin. States move primaries up for their own purposes.

Based on what? What you’ve heard in the press? Obviously you know nothing about Palin.

“and that “spotlight” is exactly why she will not run. If she gets to run in the general, its bad for her, cause who remembers a “Presidential Candidate”? And if she runs and doesn’t even get the nomination, that is even worse cause then no one will pay her to listen her talk.”

Exactly!! Could not have said it better. The one thing Palin knows for sure is that if she were to get in and not get the nomination or even worse get pummeled in the primaries her career at Fox and as a speaker is over for good.

This doesn’t seem to be true with FOX and Huckabee.

She is something else for that. I was a big supporter, but her behavior through this is not up to it. She can keep preaching. She’s nothing but an increasingly irrelevent whine. She has shackled herself with the way she has gone about this. Now she has lost a lot of respect.

+1 for the Farve reference.

I’m calling her Brett Palin or Sarah Farve from now on or until she actually announces her decision.

Personally I think her decision was made in 2008 but there’s money in dragging this thing out as long as possible.

Unfortunately, I must concur with every word you say. I have a very good friend who has been totally caught up in the cult of Sarah but she admits it and also admits she's gullible.

We've had no problems between us over this as it has been understood from the beginning that I was not a Palin supporter and so we were fine with it.

I actually was happy for her that she was so involved with O 4 P, because she was being kept very busy doing something she was enjoying.

Either way is not good for her. She messed up by strining it out so long. This is way past time to tell her supporters she wasn’t going to run for president. But she hasn’t and when it is obvious she isn’t she’s done just as much damage if not more. She made it a no-win all by herself.

I think that you've missed some important points. If she had been a candidate when McGinniss book and a movie, just released in the last few days, had come out, the press would have used the smears and demand she answer them instead of talking policy. The stuff would have hit the fan. Sitting it out for awhile, the garbage blows over.

Also if she had jumped in early the other candidates would not have been vetted. It would have been Palin all the time.

I think the real reason is that FL wants to have more influence on the election and there's no conspiracy involved.

Still I want one of these conspiracy believers to explain how Romney got them to go along with this scheme.

Iowa is not happy. This means they get to start over looking for caucus sites and get to work on this through the holidays. Who wants to go to a caucus on Jan. 2 when there are bowl games?

I live in Iowa. Do you really want to know about O 4 P in Iowa?

There was a poster last night who stated that Crist had a hand in Florida changing it’s date. She named someone else too but I don’t remember who. Anyway she said this messes up elections and is too close to holidays and everyone hates it. She did not give a reason, that I remember, for the change.

So now she tells the press to hammer the subject?

<><><><><>

If she wanted to end speculation: “Ive addressed that issue time and time again and have nothing further to say on that subject until I announce my decision.”

What we get instead is the rather lengthy treatise on titles and rogues and ability to stay independent, and the like.

Do you see how one answer stops the questioning with nothing to talk about and the other is more like stoking the flames with a flammable substance?

“Any constructive criticism of her among her followers was met with hysterical, illogical rage. They really believe the woman can do no wrong and that even her dumbest mistakes are part of some grand plan. It’s downright disturbing because it proves to me that people of ALL ideologies are capable of falling into the cult of personality trap. I thought conservatives were a little less likely to lose their minds this way, but Palin supporters demonstrate otherwise.”

A supporter recently posted hereon that Palin is the closest person to Jesus we have on Earth. Truly deranged.

They should really give a good reason. These few people made large changes on their own for a whole state because and why?

ROTFL.

Yew wish.

I wish? Seriously, "I wish" you would try to look at this objectively, but I suspect you're not interested in doing so.

When disagreement comes to mean the same thing as derangement, my original statement stands.

This article explains it, and yes, it is by statue that Iowa must go first. http://caucuses.desmoinesregister.com/2011/09/28/earlier-caucuses-put-bigger-focus-on-iowa-many-say/ Iowa is not happy about this. We have had no involvement in a conspiracy to shut out Palin.
