Oh, Potlatch, I am so sorry about your loss yesterday! It is hard, when we lose someone close to us,
I know the political threads can be an aggitation - but even though many of us may disagree, we still hold each other close in our hearts as FRiends.
I apologize if I have ever cause you any frustration - I need to learn to keep my mouth zipped - because friends are so much more important than political positions one might take. (And, of course, those positions can be changed in a heart-beat!)
((((HUGS)))) ~yorkie
very well expressed potlatch, and I know I can strongly claim the sentiment as mine also
several days into the thread & hundreds of posts & I have yet to stop by and say HI.. HAPPY OCTOBER - to my friends here
Life can get too busy, overwhelming & complicated. I want all to know, I do try to follow your news and events. Love your graphics/pix/stories/personality glimpses.
Lots of big question marks here on the home front. The economy has thrown an unsurmountable challenge into the prospect of selling this home & relocating. Just trusting God.
Pooches, kitties & I are all hanging in. Done some travel this spring & summer thanks to the gifts of friends. Looking forward to some time in OK & Texas at the end of month & into Nov (wlll be at Texas Cowbow Memorial shoot Lord willing) after the shoot with my brother in OKC for a few weeks.
Potlatch, I always enjoy your gifs.. you have fun doing them & we appreciate your sharing them. Hope your life is gentle & happy at this point. We all have our challenges, don’t we?
Buying and selling real estate in the US is tricky business these days. Housing prices have dropped significantly, and if youre trying to unload commercial property its even more difficult. So, in the game of real estate, it remains important to keep this old adage in mind: The three most important things to know about buying and selling property are location, location, location!
The same is true of living for Jesus. Knowing our location spiritually is critical if we are to succeed in navigating through the greatly devalued territory of our world. Paul reminds us that we have a new location in Christ, having been delivered from the power of darkness and conveyed . . . into the kingdom of the Son (Col. 1:13). Knowing that we have been relocated by His amazing grace into the kingdom of Jesus makes a difference. Jesus now reigns as King in our hearts and minds, and we are His grateful subjects. His will is our will and His ways become patterns for all of life and behavior. And when we are forced to make a choice, our allegiance is to Him.
So, when the temptations and the seductions of the darkness from which you have been removed threaten His reign in your heart, remember your new postal code: Colossians 1:13!
Another wonderful devotion this morning, Mayor! Thank you as always!
Have a WONDERFUL Warm and Fuzzy Wednesday!
WE ARE FAMILY! :)
Thank you, yorkie, and yours could almost be a tie....LOL!
I was looking at the little boy and he has his ball, his teddy, and his dog and a little suitcase. Do you think he’s thinking of going on a trip, as in “running away from home”? He’s a cutie pie.
Adorable! Almost twins!!!
I love your graphic, Jaycee and what Josh Billings said.......is so heartfelt! Thank you! Hope you have a great day!!
LOL! That’s the key word “almost”! :)
Good poem there!
WONDERFUL graphic and poem!! How true!! Thank you!
ADORABLE, Yorkie! Is he waiting for a Greyhound bus?? :) Thank you!
“See you later...alligator”! “After while.......crockodile”!
How cute, Pam! THAT is ‘one HUGE baby’ (and I’m not talking about the dog.) LOL!
Touching, and true. God blessed us richly with faithful dogs, wanting to please us.
Do we have the faith of a dog longing to please our King?
We are blessed by cats too, but they are more independent and do not long to please their master.
This is more like the behavior of a majority of humans, isn't it?
Thank thee, Father, for everything in this life teaching us about Thee.
For those with eyes to see and consider.
