Touching, and true. God blessed us richly with faithful dogs, wanting to please us.
Do we have the faith of a dog longing to please our King?
We are blessed by cats too, but they are more independent and do not long to please their master.
This is more like the behavior of a majority of humans, isn't it?
Thank thee, Father, for everything in this life teaching us about Thee.
For those with eyes to see and consider.
Thank you!!
15.Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16.But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
17.And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
18.Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
19.Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
You could be right, geo. Dogs are so sweet and always want to comfort their masters. Sometime I think of the dogs who are mistreated by their masters, those dogs will still try to love their masters and it makes me sad to think of that.
