Demias Jimerson of Malvern, Ark., is 11 years old and hes so good at football that hes going to score almost every time he touches the ball, according to his intermediate school principal, Terri Bryant.
In other words, hes so good he must be stopped. Because Jimerson runs circles around the other kids on the field, Bryant has decided hes not allowed to score more than three touchdowns, provided his team has at least a 14-point lead.

Teaching kids good sportsmanship is very important. Beating the life out of kids by running up the score will deter many from sports.
Most kids won’t go on to be professional athletes including this little one. The other lessons they learn from sports will help them throughout life.
I should read down-thread before I post what I think is an original thought. :)
So.... if we had a race TO THE LAKE, which one of you could get there first?
The problem with some people is they cant imagine loosing with style. Children should understand there is no dishonor in being beaten by a superior opponent. How else are they to seek to better themselves?
Give everyone a Gold Bunny and proclaim little Johnny who cant tie his shoes the same as everyone else?
Political correctness breeds mediocrity and must be wiped from the face of the Earth.
Well I tried to be nice, go screw yourself pal. You’re one of those whiny little bitches who think people really care what you say.
Maybe we could get this harpy principal from Arkansas to make sure we both get there at the same time.
You were always picked last for dodge ball weren’t you?
;-)
The kid will do good at some of the colleges that regularly scores 50, 60, 70 points per game. Schools like Nebraska, Oklahoma, Florida State, Miami, Florida on good years. Sheeesh, the object of the game, any game, is to WIN. Let them win. If the other team can’t stop it, so be it. It should make them better in the long run. Who wants to keep getting kicked in the teeth? Have opposing coaches come up with better game plans. Things like this won’t happen and these conversations will never come up.
Not if the Dolphins get to him first...
;-)
I’m just one of many people here posting my thoughts, ma’am.
But I’m glad you don’t care what I say. I’d hate to see you get upset.
you are the loser we are readin about......you state your point of view......cool.....it is challenged with supportin reasons and you cry bitch
you learned how to quit as a pee wee
Nonsense...and for the reasons stated by others.
Your assumption that “they are having life being beaten out of them” is flawed and nonsensical. Its the same ridiculous position that the pricipal is taking. You only see the kids as poor, poor victims.
Thats just plain crapola.
Play the game, learn to get better. How shortsighted to deliberately limit excellence.
He’s violating the ISO9000 rules by exceeding the standards of what school football athletes are supposed meet. Since he is far exceeding the standard it’s time to cut him down with a sickle and nail him down with a hammer. We’re trying to keep a level playing field here because we want everyone to be equal. Any standouts need to be considered defective to the group.
The 10 Rules of the Jante Law.
1. Don’t think you’re anything special.
2. Don’t think you’re as good as us.
3. Don’t think you’re smarter than us.
4. Don’t convince yourself that you’re better than us.
5. Don’t think you know more than us.
6. Don’t think you are more important than us.
7. Don’t think you are good at anything.
8. Don’t laugh at us.
9. Don’t think anyone cares about you.
10. Don’t think you can teach us anything.
Plus, there is an eleventh, unwritten rule.
11. Don’t think that there aren’t a few things we know about you.

Letting the kid score three touchdowns when the team is already leading by 14 points? The school may be going about this a bit wrong-headedly, but I don’t see the problem. Good college teams “hold back” quite often so that they don’t completely humiliate the opposing team. It’s called having compassion.
You never get better unless you get your ass kicked by someone better than you. It’s called learning.
Who would you rather play a round of golf with, Rickie Fowler or this pussy?
What’s going to happen to him when he starts scoring with the girls far in excess of how the other guys at school are doing? Will they force him to go to a homosexual re-education camp?
this squat to pee wouldn’t play golf......the balls are too white
The pussification of America continues apace.
