What you seem to be saying is that if the Democrats cheat and steal and violate the Constitution, then it's OK for the Republicans to cheat and steal and violate the Constitution.
I think not. That's basically the problem with the Republican party insiders--they are all too willing to join hands in corruption and split the pork.
Even if born in Hawaii--which I doubt--Obama doesn't qualify as a Natural Born citizen, any more than an Anchor Baby does. And neither does Rubio.
That doesn't mean that Rubio isn't a nice guy, who deserves his current post. There are millions of nice guys all over the world, but they don't qualify for POTUS.
If we no longer want to limit the POTUS to natural born citizens, then it's time to pass another amendment. But frankly I don't think that's a very good idea.
If the Republicans have no more respect for the US Constitution and the rule of law than the dems I say screw ‘em all. The only way I would even vote would be for a third-party candidate who actually stood for the rule of law.
The more the establishment blows us off, the more THEY are setting the stage for somebody like Palin to run as a third-party candidate and take a lot of votes with them.
I’m sick of both “sides” of the establishment thinking that we the people and the rule of law can be poo-poohed into oblivion. They ALL need to be forced to comply with the law.
If SCOTUS denies standing to individual voters who need to know whether they can vote for a particular candidate without violating the Constitution, the only option they leave us is to not vote at all. If they think that is too insignificant to take the time to rule on, this country is already lost and elections are a total waste of time.
