Sounds good to me.
The standard has been set, Rubio meets that standard, end of story.
Agreed.
If Obama is an NBC because he was (allegedly) born in the U.S., then Rubio is an NBC because HE was born in the U.S. case closed, end of story.

The standard has NOT been set. Every court in this nation which has had the opportunity has either ruled that it’s nobody’s business or that NBC doesn’t matter enough to spend time on. All some of us are asking is that the standard BE SET. The courts refuse.
I like a lot of what Rubio says, but unless and until the Supreme Court rules on what NBC means, somebody like Rubio will not get my vote, either for president or for vice-president. Putting Rubio with an otherwise good, eligible candidate would be a real quick way to lose the election. Play “chicken” with us if you like, Levin, but I don’t think you want the results you may get. You need our goodwill, and you won’t get that by mocking us and refusing to address our points. That’s exactly how we’ve gotten into this unaccountable, corrupted mess we’re in.
The best thing Levin or any of the others could do would be to encourage SCOTUS to take up the issue so we have a clear ruling and somebody like Rubio can know where he stands, as can every voter in this country. Why does SCOTUS refuse to clarify this?
At least he was actually born here and we know it.
