Drama all around.
Hillary is no longer Senator from NY, the Hillary curse was able to over ride the curse of the Babe and allow the Red Sox to win in 2004 and 2007 (well that and lot of heavy use of Steroids).
Hillary is gone and it looks like the Babe is back
The Dodgers were leading 7-0 in the bottom of the 9th when Arizona had two home runs in a row, one a grand slam, barely sqeeking out a win 7-5.
It’s going to be Yanks v Dbacks in the Seies with the Dbacks holding home field advantage.
10 years after the 9/11 series the Dbacks take the crown again in 2011!!!!!!1
Boom shaka laka!!!
Wouldn’t have mattered since the Brewers already clinched the 2nd seed in the NL.
That was like March Madness in September! Great night of baseball!
Yeah, I feel bad for the Braves. Truly a total collapse.
Well you can cheer for True Sons of the South, Georgia Boys on the Cardinals team:
Adam Wainwright and Mitchell Boggs.
And I'll bet even some of the Turner Field crowd noticed that.
I have never been to another ball park where the game was treated almost like a distraction, the way it is at Turner Field.
Most of that crowd goes to the game to get drunk and scarf down Chick-Fil-A sandwiches. You know, stuff they don't do every night, everywhere else in the Atlanta Metro area.

Since my Angels are out, and well, the Dodgers totally suck(They are in desperate need of new management) I am glad to see the Red Sox out of the playoffs
True of the game-winning HR in the 12th, as well as the game-tying HR in the 9th.

The only pancake here goes on your head, for not agreeing with the original poster. This was the greatest, most dramatic, night of baseball I have seen in 43 years of playing and following it. I am still sitting in stunned amazement at what happened tonight.
here’s the Boston Herald preview of the Red Sox from April (complete with video)
Only one team will win eleven postseason games and that team plays their home game in the Bronx.
Giving the intense hatred that the Yankees have for Boston, I rather expected that a bp pitch would end up over the fence. I think I was right.
Maybe so, but when it was put up on the scoreboard that Boston lost . . . well, it just kind of worked out, maybe.
Yeah, the Yanks even hit into that triple play last night that kept the Rays in the hunt.
I’ll take it easy on you tonight, since you just had a partial heart transplant. Just the part where they tear it out.
CC vs Verlander will be a delicious matchup.

A good bet considering the hideous asymmetry in payroll they enjoy, vis-a-vis the vast majority of other MLB teams.
