I think the author may have missed the point... Washington isn’t yawning over this — they SUPPLIED the guns being used against the Mexican gov’t BY the cartels!
Absolutely; Washington has been supporting the drug cartels because they’ve effectively closed the border such that Anglo’s can’t go to Mexico anymore. Washington hasn’t fenced the Mexican’s out..........they’ve fenced us IN!
