From reading only the headline—which many just barely sentient life forms do and expect them to tell the entire story without reading further—it purposely—because we know the Leftist Hollyweird agenda—suggests that Livi and Sarah suck as authors when one of the books was actually written by a real sucky author and NOT Sarah!
Just reading the headline tells the don't know any betters that Sarah Palin—in spite of two previous best sellers—has gone downhill—the obvious reason for the mendacious wording of the headline. If the target wasn't Sarah.whoever wrote it would be fired.
To be clear the Palin book referred to in the title as bombing is the book about Palin written by Joe McGuinness.
Lots of young people make that mistake, but the damage he's gone out of his way to do to the mother of his child can never be undone.
He's a marked man for single women forevermore. No one with half a brain could have a relationship with him and not know in advance what she's in for.
Levi may not realize it now, but on this down slide, Kathy Griffin's saggy butt may be about as good as it gets going forward. My sincerest apologies for your breakfast over that mental image.

Hearing that both garbage books are a major fail gives me some hope for this society that the majority of Americans won’t read filth like this
I am not sure that these numbers are so bad. Figure 1000 books are published every week. To be in the top 200 or so makes it very likely that a book will come out in paperback, where trashy crap tends to sell much better than in hardcover.
Anyone care to hazard a guess as to why the writer of this article chose not to identify both books by the name of their authors? Might there be a subliminal urge to associate a “bombing” (i.e., failing) book of trash with the name of Sarah Palin?

It must bug McGinnis and Levi no end that Gov Palin’s book was on the NYT bestsellers list
