Apparently they do. I was speaking w/ some co-workers about it. They can make up anything to make a person look bad and ripe for firing.

The ‘work through the strike, get fired after’ is usually part of the contract the union makes with the company. It’s to keep all the workers in line with the union. Supposedly the union dues are to make a strike fund to cover people during strikes, but it isn’t as much money as a paycheck.
