On the legal side of the WOD it mostly comes from tax dollars, excepting siezed property. On the illegal side of the WOD it mostly isn’t tax dollars, excepting things like welfare involvement.

There’s some good arguments on both sides of the issue. I think it does more harm than good myself. One interesting thing is that the high-ups on both sides of the law would vote the same way as far as ending the WOD: they wouldn’t. Like I said, it creates jobs on both sides of the law and both sides of the political spectrum.

Can you tell me which drugs are out and out "illegal" or can you only show me actions taken with drugs which are against the law. (transportation, sell, etc.)
The charge is always "possession/sale/transport of a controlled substance", not of an illegal drug, isn't it?

There are no illegal drugs and only the actions taken with controlled substances are considered "illegal" or against the law. Hospitals and doctors use and/or prescribe "controlled substances" every day in completely legal ways.
