"The Big Broadcast is a Sunday night tradition for families throughout the WAMU listening area. Each week, Big Broadcast host Ed Walker offers listeners priceless recordings of popular radio programs from the '30s, '40s and '50s. Priceless, especially, for a man whose first sentence as a child was, 'Turn the radio on.' "

Go here: http://www.otr.net/ You can get streaming old time radio of any venue you like. When my dad found it on the internet we would spend one night a week just listening to some of the shows.

Friday tells Backstrand that no prints have been left at the scene of the burglaries. Ed wants them to check all the pawn shops. Henry's Square Deal Pawn Shop, Fifth and Main. They talk to the proprietor, Max, an old friend of Ben's. They get a lead on the man's description, about 5'9" and 140 pounds. Another burglary shop reports taking in some more of the stolen merchandise. The man gave the name of Walter Tracy. He fits the description. Two more pawn shops report taking in stolen merchandise, the man fitting the description. The score reaches 19 burglaries in 19 days. Kaplan's Pawn Shop calls in saying that Walter Tracy is there. Friday and Romero get there in time to follow Tracy when he leaves, apprehending him. He has a Smith & Wesson revolver, and fits the description. He denies having committed any burglary. He claims to have spent the two nights he has been in town in the park. Friday decides to take Tracy on foot on a hot 91˚ day and look for what he believes to be Tracy's room. They check with manager's of every rooming house, hotel and apartment building. The search continues for several days, each day getting hotter than the previous. Tracy is complaining, and threatening to sue Friday and Romero. They finally find a landlady, Miss Elizabeth Hunter, who immediately says to Tracy, "Why Mr. Baker, where have you been?" She says that she has been renting to "Baker" for two months. She opens "Baker's" room. Inside is a woman, Billie Crawford, who has been waiting for Walter.
