Interesting post.

I eat a lot of broccoli just because it is healthy.

There are five vegetables that were derived from the will English cabbage. They are:

1. Broccoli

2. Cauliflower

3. Brussell Sprouts

4. Cabbage (The stuff we eat in cole slaw)

5. Collard Greens

All of these are high in cancer fighting properties.

(BTW, those five are the answer to a Trivial Pursuit question)

I use horseradish in my coleslaw. Not much. Just enough to make it interesting.

We now have some Indian deli-supermarkets in my neighborhood that I’ve been hitting regularly for awhile now and I swear spice is addictive ( like in Dune). It’s not even the quest for a “hot” taste like in Mexican type food. Most hot food is pepper based but in Indian the heat is spice based. Bottom line, heavy spice influences my sense of well being. I’m not surprised to see science back this up.
