I do bow in your direction! Do you remember the pre-net days when FR was on....ummm GEnie...no...it started with p...Prodigy I believe.

It was basically a chat room IIRC with few if any graphics and maybe 10-50 members.

I used to drop by and lurk...couldn't keep my machine...a (TRS COCO!) running good enough to reliably participate.

Then MUCH later I rediscovered FR on the net. Thank you JR for helping me through my numerous failed attempts to register and log on, LOL!

Ahhh..those were the days...or daze. At my age I get confused...sigh.

I am humbled.
I actually started lurking about 3 months earlier, but lost the password, or something - it got messed up to the point I just reregistered.

Think there are about a half dozen who came over here from the Reagan forum (Mike Reagan used to have a forum), that one was pretty un-moderated, and seriously went to hell in a ham sandwich!!

Yeah, I'm one of those who was around for a while and then sign up right away. Or was it re-register? We did that once, didn't we?

I know I was on the site before Lewinsky broke in Jan 1998. I was posting jokes from my other website (long gone).
