You can’t let your hole get plugged up, words to live by with a moonshine still and in general. In moonshine stills it can cause an explosion, a still is like a pressure cooker.
There’s 100 proof, 200 proof, and poof the windows got blown out proof.
Back to the drawing board.

If you’re going to distill alcohol or make essential oils, there are a lot of alternatives as far as stills go. One of the best designs for personal use is the column still. Here are some examples:

Unfortunately home distillation is generally illegal in the US, which means that the hard part is getting the quality distilling apparatus.
As the Prohibition saying went....If you can light a wick in it...it’s done. Must have been good stuff to blow up a house! LOL

Neither. He kills them and plays with them so he can leave them to get stinky for rolling on.
Wait ... what?
I had a buddy who, years ago, had a winemaking operation in his basement. His neighbors were involoved, and he handled the wine needs for the entire neighborhood. People would bring back old wine and he’d cook it down for the alcohol on a 3 burner gas stove he built just for that purpose. One day that contraption exploded when he was cooking down a batch, blowing off the entire backside of his house. No one was hurt.
Nice. For him, that is.
I hate it, when that happens!
