umm..forgot about that Kalua Pig. Mrs p6 and I ...well I ...am looking for more slow cooker recipes. That might work for tomorrow. Would have done it sooner but Mrs p6 made some great Swiss Steak.

I haven’t had much luck with slow cooker recipes so I was glad to have the pulled pork be a keeper. I find the slow cooker either takes far longer than just doing it on the stove or in the oven. Sometimes its just messier to clean up, just depends. Having said that though I do have a stuffing that is made in the crock pot that we like. I use the crock pot liners for ease of clean up whenever I can.

When we make swiss steak, we always have some of the broth left over. Mrs Mag substitutes it for the catsup in meatloaf. That is dangerous good.
I always add a teaspoon (or a cube) of beef bouillon to swiss steak and omit additional salt.
