"pancreatitis hurts, bad"My daughter-in-law has chronic familial pancreatitis, and her attacks usually land her in the hospital with nothing but a drip in her hand and and NOTHING by mouth, even water. The less severe attacks wind up in the ER, and she's had it all her life. Needless to say, it complicates her life in incredible ways.
