These days, Republicans have the desperate aura of an endangered species. They lost Congress, then the White House; more recently, they lost a slam-dunk House election in a conservative New York district, then Senator Arlen Specter. Polls suggest only one-fourth of the electorate considers itself Republican, independents are trending Democratic and as few as five states have solid Republican pluralities. And the electorate is getting less white, less rural, less Christian in short, less demographically Republican. GOP

Anyway, I think we've come back pretty good. Significantly better then the predicted 40 years of wondering in the wilderness.
I wonder if the choice of 40 years was an ironic mistake or an offhand insult offered to Jews
It’s not like the Republicans have done anything great. Barack Obama has been the greatest disaster in the nation’s history but he has sure managed to make the GOP look good (by comparison).

That web site looks like a great trove of pre-2010 election articles. The side bar on the main page http://bluedogs.us/ is of particular interest.
I think the website (suspended activity until 2012) will be purged once people start pointing at some of those articles and LMAO while injecting them into debate.
He merely hates anything American, that’s why Libs enjoy Obama and anything anti-US
Brother, I’m sorry to say that’s so true. I’m already thinking to myself how the GOP should handle itself for the 2012 election and after so we don’t make the same mistakes and assumptions.

Lay every problem at the feet of the public education system and the demise of church teachings and munch on that. There was a time when no church in the USA supported
“the pill”. One by one and over time they folded, but for the Catholic Church, and it’s pretty obvious that even the people there ignore Catholic doctrine on that life issue.
Dove tailing with the religious decline is the secular, socialist education we are getting that devalues the family, American history and, wa-lah, we churn out now generations of ignorant, secular (Godless), graduates from university and academia. More are coming. No one is addressing it. Not our candidates. Not even the people. We’re just to “tard” to deal with it, and besides, it’s hard?
Arlen Specter was no loss.
Sending liberals to hell is great. But we need to bring our country back from this crap after the last of these commies are put to rest.
If it wasn’t for the Teaparty, there would be NO Republican Party. Fortunately they choose to reform the party from the inside out ...
“Its not like the Republicans have done anything great. Barack Obama has been the greatest disaster in the nations history but he has sure managed to make the GOP look good (by comparison).”
Here’s hoping the R’s don’t go back to their tried and true message: “Vote for us. We may suck. But not as much as the Democrats.”
Two words (more or less)...... Nov. 2010...
“Its not like the Republicans have done anything great. Barack Obama has been the greatest disaster in the nations history but he has sure managed to make the GOP look good (by comparison).”
Amen to that
