Brother, I’m sorry to say that’s so true. I’m already thinking to myself how the GOP should handle itself for the 2012 election and after so we don’t make the same mistakes and assumptions.
For Republicans, you know where these quite real demographic changes are leading don’t you? Eventually, we are going to have to compete for minority voters. We Anglos have pretty much contracepted ourselves out of existence, so this was all actually quite predictable.
Lay every problem at the feet of the public education system and the demise of church teachings and munch on that. There was a time when no church in the USA supported
“the pill”. One by one and over time they folded, but for the Catholic Church, and it’s pretty obvious that even the people there ignore Catholic doctrine on that life issue.
Dove tailing with the religious decline is the secular, socialist education we are getting that devalues the family, American history and, wa-lah, we churn out now generations of ignorant, secular (Godless), graduates from university and academia. More are coming. No one is addressing it. Not our candidates. Not even the people. We’re just to “tard” to deal with it, and besides, it’s hard?
