A 50-year-old Swedish man has been charged with harassment after he played a Bob Dylan song for his ex-girlfriend hoping to reignite an abandoned love.
It was around 11pm one evening in June 2011 when the 50-year-old would be troubadour stood outside his ex-girlfriend's balcony, guitar in hand, the Metro newspaper reported.
The love-sick man had also cobbled together a group of five other men to serve as vocal accompaniment for the late-night live performance, each of whom donned hoodies with their hoods up.

He should have opted for Nugent.

I was about to say that anyone caught torturing a woman by forcing her to listen to Bob Dylan sing SHOULD be arrested!

It seems like most of the stuff guys do in the Romantic Comedies would actually get you arrested for trespassing/stalking in real life.

I was about to say that anyone caught torturing a woman by forcing her to listen to Bob Dylan sing SHOULD be arrested! He's got some good stuff. Unfortunately it seems like all his good songs were good when other people sang them (My Back Pages, The Mighty Quinn, All Along the Watchtower, Mr. Tamborine Man). I still like his "Knocking on Heaven's Door" more than GNR's version.

Yes, but playing “Idiot Wind” was just a bad choice.

Have you listened to Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts (not sure if it’s the actual title). Fine singing. Ballad; every word understandable. He could sing then.......

No, I gave up on Dylan after listening to his "commercially successful" stuff!
Sorry, that is all I could stand! Don't worry, I have made the same mistake in the OPPOSITE direction with other singers. I thought they could sing only to find out that only through HIGHLY processed digital synthesizers were they able to not sound like Jabba the Hut!

Mike Damone to Rat in Fast Times at Ridgmont High: "First of all Rat, you never let on how much you like a girl. "Oh, Debbie. Hi." Two, you always call the shots. "Kiss me. You won't regret it." Now three, act like wherever you are, that's the place to be. "Isn't this great?" Four, when ordering food, you find out what she wants, then order for the both of you. It's a classy move. "Now, the lady will have the linguini and white clam sauce, and a Coke with no ice." And five, now this is the most important, Rat. When it comes down to making out, whenever possible, put on side one of Led Zeppelin IV. "

Say ' Howdy' to the best American singer-songwriter in the last 100 years!

Well, that’s your opinion! And you know what they say about opinions: everyone has one just like.... well, you know! Have a good evening!

Acquired taste, and I wish everyone would acquire it.
Good evening to you, Sir.

Man, I missed the point of the headline by a mile. I thought Dylan’s publisher was charging the guy royalties.

He still can sing... “If You Ever Go to Houston” off the Together Through Life album of a couple years ago is great stuff. I can’t understand anyone not liking either his writing or his voice.
