I have a strong supporter off Governor Palin since 2009. and I have been attacked for that at times here on FR.
It feels like she is leaving us hanging. Those of us who donated money and support to her over the last few years have a right to know where is this going. I used to be angry with the media, but now im somewhat unsure with her as well because she is not fighting back on their side of the 50. She hasn't been on tv debating liberals and getting in the mix. Why isn't she trying to change the unfair media image.
I can't understand why she would let the support she has slip between her fingers. I can't understand why she is not trying to gain more support.
Agree. All just speculation at this point.
But, with statements like this:
“If Sarah Palin had run a conventional campaign and declared two years before the election, the GOP ruling class would have taken her out by now...”
Is this not a tacit admission that Palin can’t take the heat and criticism? That she won’t be able to weather the inevitable storm aimed at a candidate for POTUS? Hasn’t “taking the heat” been something of a problem for her in the past? Whether you see or believe it yourself, it is a very real and obvious problem for many out there who may share her ideals but worry about her stick-to-it-ivism.
Who knows? Maybe she doesn’t want to run. It doesn’t matter to me, because I can easily support perry or bachmann.
If sarah gets in, then I’ll support her.
Reagan didn’t announce his candidacy until November ‘79.
Patience, young grasshopper.
If she announces within the next few weeks, this entire thread will make no sense.
Palin has let no one down...
She is making brilliant moves..
She must have good advisers.. Yeah even Rollins..
All the candidates would make a good President.. even Huntsman..
Good compared to whom?... is exactly the question..
You must learn patience, Grasshopper.
Palin is targeted like no other. Sure, they snipe at Perry or Bachmann. But for Palin, it’s a whole different ball game.
This is why her path must be unconventional, in my opinion.
As for your criticism, think of it this way: if she announces in the next few weeks, it will demonstrate the exact opposite of what you suggest.
I think she’s in now.After tonights debate
Well those of us who support her have taken a lot of ridicule. This whole situation doesn’t even make any sense. How did the media get away with trashing a person whom they had very little trash to use against her in the first place. Why did so many Americans go along with it ? Why is she not out there atleast trying to correct to record.
I think she needs to run. I think we (her supporters) have provided her with the financial ability to run. How does she correct the record if she never runs ? Even if she never wins, atleast she would prove the idiots wrong on her ability to take them on and hold her own.
It would eat away at me if so many people in the country thought I was ignorant because of FALSE media attacks. I would fight back day and night against that because it is a personal attack and it was all along. ATLEAST she should be out there fighting that
Nobody has a greater desire for Sarah to announce her candidacy then I do. But I am forcing myself to stay calm, let things shake out between the field as it stands right now, and wait for Sarah to announce her decision. I think she MADE her decision LONG AGO; but is waiting for the right time in accordance with her plan and strategy, to announce it.
Frankly, the belly-achers remind me of anxious kids. Offer most kids a Quarter right now or a Dollar tomorrow, and they’ll spring for the quarter immediately. We have a bunch of lesser candidates in the field right now; one of which will get my vote IF Sarah doesn’t run.
But I’m going to keep my powder dry and wait for the REAL one to announce; the only one I truly believe can stand up to the Corrupt Bastards of BOTH Parties in DC, and actually start turning the Ship of State around and headed back in the direction it used to and SHOULD be going. I’m referring to taking action on taxes, and oil exploration and drilling, and repealing onerous regulations, and repealing Obamacare, etc., etc. I JUST CANNOT SEE any of the current candidates having the spine, or the cohones, if you will, to TACKLE a list such as this! Sarah IS NOT For Sale!
Sarah Palin on Fox News now trashing Perry for “crony-capitalism” - don’t think she’ll be endorsing Perry.
Palin owes me nothing. I’ve found and continue to find her quite delightful.
“Why is she not out there atleast trying to correct to record.”
Her record corrects the record. Your question should be directed to anyone who doesn’t research it.
First and foremost, by watching The Undefeated.
If she announced she was running the leftist MSM would be constantly attacking her. Let them beat up someone else instead.
Reagan did not announce until November 13th. Were you also “disappointed” with him? Bill Clinton didn’t announce until October. Strategy is lost on those who simply cannot see the whole picture...
Then after you’ve seen The Undefeated, go read her books.
If writing two books isn’t the best way to correct a record while at the same time maintaining the right posture, nothing is.
The truth is, she doesn’t want to announce the truth that she is NOT going to run because her support and influence will dry up and she’ll be irrelevant except as a circuit speaker. Good money there, but the camera goes away. She doesn’t have the infrastructure or the funding to launch a campaign, and I personally think it’s pretty sorry how she is leading a bunch of good people on.
