The President read Psalm 46 this morning at the September 11 memorial in New York. If he had been familiar with text he would have know that Bow - is a reference to a weapon of war like in bow & arrow. Two more weapons of war follow in verse 9 - the spear & chariot. Instead he pronounced the word as Bow - to been at the waist, the front of a boat, or limb of a tree.
Wonder if it was the first time he had read or heard the scriptural passage?
Let’s not get carried away. He knew exactly what he was doing: throwing a sop to public religiosity, but obviously didn’t like doing it. It was so obvious, it was almost a sort of honesty.
Who selected this Psalms? Regardless of how he pronounces there is complete irony in the selection.
I ask this question because given what is going on around this world and what verse 6 foretells:
The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: He uttered His voice, the earth melted.
I think part one is in motion and the Voice is getting ready to speak.
He’s an affirmative action idiot. Complete waste of oxygen. Who cares what he says anymore?
Perhaps they fear Obama will 'off their heads' should they go there. . .and as we know Obama; perhaps not an unreasonble consideration; should that be the case.
The 'One Most Arrogant'. . .does not like to be reduced to the absurd; despite this being, precisely where he belongs.
(And unlike GW; he will never resign himself to just taking it 'gracefully'; as the virtue of Humility; is an alien concept to Obama.)

I’m surprised I didn’t see this gaffe all over the Internet, not just on FR.
And don’t forget....his wife doesn’t have the sense enough, or decorum either, to ‘curtsy’ to the Queen upon their meeting. Ahhh...yep...just a good ole’ pat on the back for the Queen. Perhaps she might have enjoyed a “fist-bump” instead?
