A friend of mine pointed out the meaning of "Jacob" in zero's speech. I had no idea that he was a great prophet in the quran. Look it up and see.

I watched it and want the transcript, also. This is not verbatim, but he read that the God of Jacob is with us. At one point, I heard him mention one verse about 'I will ascend to the heights' which really disturbed me because I believe that is a reference to Satan.

It's interesting that many of the family members who are reading the names of the dead have been adding explicit religious messages to their recitation.
One woman said her loved one was in the hands of “our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ”, and another person said his relative was with “God the Father” in heaven.

I've heard no Islamic references yet.

Jacob is mentioned 16 times in the Qur’an. In the majority of these references, Jacob is mentioned alongside fellow Hebrew prophets and patriarchs as an ancient and pious prophet who remained in the “company of the elect”.
