RIP. Have no idea about his political views but this isn’t the time to get into that. He lived a long and full life, which is about all we can hope for.
Remember it well. Too bad nothing stays in business.
Did you see his 1980 film the Pilot Great performance and movie RIP Cliff
I think his A Tree Grows in Brooklyn was the best.

Was Charly based on Flowers for Algernon?
He’s bound to have been a better Uncle Ben than Martin Sheen will be.

Rest in Peace, Cliff Robertson.
I remember him in Brainstorm. That was a cool movie.

RIP
RIP, Mr. Robertson. Main movie roles I remember him in are JFK in “PT109”, William Holden’s rival for Kim Novak’s affections in “Picnic” and the James Stewart role in the 1975 partial remake of Hitchcock’s “Vertigo” called “Obsession”. Also, he was married at one time to the lovely Dina Merrill(”Operation Petticoat”, “The Courtship of Eddie’s Father”, “The Desk Set”). I need to watch “Obsession” again to honor his memory.
Higgins: It's simple economics. Today it's oil, right? In ten or fifteen years, food. Plutonium. Maybe even sooner. Now, what do you think the people are gonna want us to do then?
Joe Turner: Ask them?
Higgins: Not now - then! Ask 'em when they're running out. Ask 'em when there's no heat in their homes and they're cold. Ask 'em when their engines stop. Ask 'em when people who have never known hunger start going hungry. You wanna know something? They won't want us to ask 'em. They'll just want us to get it for 'em!
I just watched 633 Squadron the other night. He carried the movie.
His navigator :”Where’s it hurt”?
Wing comdr: :uh, everywhere”
He was a classy actor, on and off the screen.
Shame on you, Shame!
A fine actor. Thanks for the memories, Mr Robertson. You shall be missed. RIP.
I liked him in “The Devils Brigade” or what ever the name of the movie was.
RIP.
