First lady Michelle Obama says she hopes to still be playing tennis when she's 90.
Obama visited the U.S. Open for the first time Friday to promote her campaign against childhood obesity and praise the U.S. Tennis Association's initiative to build kid-sized courts.
Obama played doubles against Serena Williams, clocked 55 mph on her serve and even did some hula-hooping ...

We didn’t either. We would take the single racket my dad got from Salvation Army and bring the can of tennis balls we saved up for to the local elementary school and use the wall as our “opposition”.

I had a Poncho Gonzales wood racquet, and a couple dead tennis balls. My “opponent” was the garage wall, between snow shovels, and other obstacles. I still have awesome ground strokes. :)
Nope. Serena withdrew last week, because she was recently diagnosed with Sjogren’s syndrome. An autoimmune disease.
