'A social pariah': How lonely Monica Lewinsky has failed to find happiness...
Daily Mail ^ | 09/07/11 | Mike O'Brien

Posted on 09/07/2011 12:30:32 PM PDT by Winstons Julia

The source claims Monica has more or less given up on finding love. 'Monica still feels like she's the punchline to a dirty joke,' the source said. 'The publicity over her affair with Clinton ruined her chances of ever finding a decent guy. In June she made a rare outing with a small dinner party at Lucy's El Adobe Cafe in Hollywood.

WJ—thank you.

As I look over the possibiltiies for the GOP nomination, I see none that have the moral fortitude, the inner courage, the faith which will keep them uncorrupted by DC power sirens, except for Sarah Palin.

The next election is not just about political power, but it is the about the spiritual future of an entire people.

The leader sets the tone.

As Reagan did in 1980, Sarah Palin is the only one who can ignite a movement to take back this country in 2012 from those who are seeking its destruction.

Democrats are not just those who disagree with us, they are now enablers of a radical, Marxist entity that seeks to end the American experiment.

Sarah Palin is the only one that makes me want to fight for her candidacy, the only one that seems to have nailed the present condition of this land and its people, and the only leader that is trustworthy.

She has proven herself.

The rest are mere variations on a theme, with different levels of competency. But they lack true leadership, the vision that keeps a whole people from perishing.

WJ, I’ll get off my soapbox. But that’s as honest an answer as I can give to your question.

Is there no one else that can save us?

Nope, according to what I read on FR she is it.

Herman Cain?

Rick Perry?

None but Sarah?

I don’t know if she’ll run ... but I don’t know if she can win.

Sometimes when people speak of her, it’s as though they are exalting her the way the left exalted Obama.

If she doesn’t run ... or even if she does and doesn’t get support ... I would hope you would join me in working for whomever can defeat Obama ...

If it is ruined, it is because she made dumb mistakes 15 years ago and has accepted that those mistakes define who she is today.

Part of it may be that, when a girl's been the President's mistress, anybody who would actually WANT to date her, she feels is "beneath" her. I don't think she can see herself going out with a McDonald's manager or a plumber, and the men who are rich and high-status have better options than settling for her.

True, and she’s from a wealthy Jewish family, so unlikely she’d be interested in “working” types.

And as you say, guys from similar background have better options.

I have confidence that no cigar would have gotten near my ... youthful self.

And... if I DID THAT... I would hope that I wouldn’t be feeling sorry for myself later and deluding myself that it really was ... something more than a serial philandering jerk that used me....

Sometimes a cigar is just... no, wait. Perhaps she should just be happy her name is now a noun, akin to quisling. She went down in history. Um...

The least Bill could do is throw her a bone

And start the whole mess all over again? That's what got them in truble to begin with.

Substituting 'a sop' doesn't exactly work, either.

Maybe 'give her a sinecure' would cover it, without adding fuel to the fire.

Did Larhrer Flynnt ever make her an offer to pose or does he only like to traffic in conservative sex scandals?

He was right. Most people make their own trouble and have to get themselves out of it again. I recently shook some dust off my shoes, and I’m feeling much better.

You are fortunate because yours was just dust.

Crust is much harder to eliminate.

40?!! Has it been that long? It seems like it was only last year that she was crawling around the Oval Office on her hands and knees.

She went on TV and made money off this and then feels bad about the publicity? Cool, but no cigar.

She not only was a very young woman, she was already very messed up. Bubba was in his 40s at the time. He was, and still is, very messed up. He’s, also, in one of the most, what can politely be said, odd marriages for a public figure in modern history.*

While I don’t feel badly for him, I do feel badly for her. Her life has been ruined by both Bill and Hillary, two of the most unsavory characters to inhabit the White House.

Do you know what other person has been messed up by those two?

Chelsea, and I feel so badly for her.

*That was an understatement. There may have been more unseemly public figures in our history, but I can’t name one right now. ;o)
