On Friday, August 26, 2011, a group of New Yorkers were startled to see multiple UFOs hovering in the dark night sky above New York City. This UFO sighting took place just one day before Hurricane Irene was expected to wreak havoc on the area.

The witnesses observed at least 8-10 UFOs high above the city. One of the men was able to capture the sight on video. The unidentified flying objects seemed to remain nearly stationary for the entire length of the video, nearly three minutes, but there is some slight movement overhead.

Each UFO seems to be glowing with a bright white light. They appear to be orbs or spheres, and their lights constantly blink or flicker.

They are evidently recon orbs . . . of varying sizes.

There was one report of about a 3’ diameter opalescent orb being seen loaded onto a stretcher and being slid into an ambulance under military guard.

Hurricane Irene never arrived in New York. Hurricane Irene never made landfall in the United States. It came ashore as a tropical storm and continued to weaken throughout its journey. When it reached New York it was barely a tropical storm.

Any wisdom on that question is above my pay grade.

I suggest you do whatever you feel inclined to do.

Well, we had a thunderstorm move through Chicago about 4 or 5 weeks ago that did several million dollars of damage to the Garfield Conservatory. Some of the hail was baseball sized and there were at least 8 trees, some of them very large, down and into the street in the 10 blocks between my lab and my house (all lying northwest to southeast). So, yes, even in a tropical storm there can be damage, especially if the ground has been soaked by storms before it comes; this makes it easier for trees to come loose and get blown down.
