I, for one, agree. Of the chains, I’ll take a Wendy’s before any other.

I agree, of the fast food chains, Wendy's is my fave.

For favorite burger outright, its Fuddruckers. I just hate the place inside. And its not the type of place where you order a burger and walk out 10-15 minutes later.

I’ve always thought Wendy’s was the best. They grind their beef on the premises.

I love burgers. God I love food!

The perfect burger is medium, a big fat patty of 1/2 pound or more, pure 100% beef, lot’s of cheese, lot’s of ketchup and mayo (sloppy) and some pickles on top. The bun is a potato bun, grilled and buttered. The meat is best flame cooked and with Hickory added.

Many burger places won't even cook a real burger anymore! They won't cook medium to rare.

The food police is intruding even in this one last bastion of liberty, for your safety and the environment of course!

Only problem I have with Wendy’s is getting burgers that were cooked an hour or more earlier. They SAY, “We don’t re-heat our burgers - they are all fresh cooked.” but I know I’ve gotten some really dried out old ones that had to be sitting in an oven for a long time after they were grilled.

Typically when I get there after 1:30 pm, 2pm or so.

Best value, good texture and taste... Burger King plain double cheese burger and a coke.... $2.50... splurge another buck and a half for two burgers and you can run the rest of the day on that.

Fine dining.... sarcasm off... but it really is pretty good value and a decent burger.
