Freep a Poll! (Fox. Should the GOP Debate Be Moved?)
foxnews.com ^ | 8-31-11 | Fox News

Should the GOP presidential debate be moved?

No, let Obama compete with his prospective rivals.

Yes, to right after Obama's speech, so the GOP candidates can give their rebuttals.

Yes, to a different night, so viewers can digest the competing messages separately.

I'm not sure. Other (post a comment).

move obama. Debate has been scheduled for a long time, and now boy king wants to play gotcha? This is nothing more than a POLITICAL SPEECH - why does he deserve a Joint Session of Congress so he can campaign? This is worse than his buying $2 million Canadian buses for “official use”. The GOP needs to stop this guy - find your spine Boehner.

Should Obama’s speech even be televised?

Is there an option to move the time of Obama’s campaign event to 7 AM EST?

False choice.

Where's "No. Obama should schedule his speech for a different day"?

No, the GOP should not move the debate. This is the President’s 7th major speech on jobs and the economy and only the second debate. PS. If Huntsmann and Santorum are in the debate, then Thad McCotter should be as well. Why are we letting the media decide who gets to debate?

I liked the “Rebuttal” Idea, but I was only in the 10% group.

Man we right-wing/TEA Party/Lynch Mob/GOPers really do know how to pick 'em.

Using mental telepathy, we chose a date knowing full well that Obozo would want to be on TV demanding that we do this and pay that, to schedule our debate(s).

I use the possible plural debate(s) as we've already selected other potential dates, again, using our Magic 8 Balls, to predict when Obozo will need to "address the nation" over some significant issue or calamity that will befall this nation.

Being the Wizards of Smart that we are, we out-fox this Administration at every turn!

No, let Obama compete with his prospective rivals. 48.76% (14,230 votes)

Yes, to right after Obama’s speech, so the GOP candidates can give their rebuttals. 37.15% (10,843 votes)

Yes, to a different night, so viewers can digest the competing messages separately. 10.71% (3,126 votes)

I’m not sure. 0.37% (107 votes)

Other (post a comment). 3.01% (878 votes)

Total Votes: 29,184

I voted no, because there was no “Hell No!” answer. Oblowhard needs to reschedule his impromptu (campaign) speech, which I might add, hasn’t even been approved by Boehner, who is the one who would DECIDE to even accept the meeting in the first place.

Ugh, I loathe this tool in the WH. And loathe isn’t nearly as strong enough, for what I feel.

Congress should tell him they are not going to be a part of his re-election campaign. screw him. and as for Carney ALLOWING NBC to reschedule the debate, he don’t ALLOW anything, bambi isn’t king, he’s just another asshole politician....

The debate should not be moved. obama should be required to move his date. Offer him the 6th, 8th, 9th, 10th or 8:00AM on the 7th.

Obama will convince more people to vote Republican. How would you like to be stuck with him as your standard bearer?

This is a clever move by Zero. By creating a bunch of hoopla over the speech and its date, he makes it seem far more important than it will actually be.

“”Thad McCotter should be as well””

I’ve heard this man on the floor of Congress - he doesn’t even have to refer to notes. He’s pretty sharp.

Anyone here still believe obozo isn’t transparent?

The WH should be told that the minute the networks realize he doesn’t have anything new to say, they’re pulling the plug on him. What can he say we haven’t heard 1000 times before?

The most effective way to improve the economy is to discuss and debate ideas to replace the current Bozos in the Whitehouse. Prediction: Obama will propose the same-old that hasn’t worked to date. He may be “bold” and double down on stupid, but there will be nothing but platitudes and empty promises. The REAL ideas will be in the republican debate, so why replace it with phony fluff?
