Group tries to break bow-tying record

August 28, 2011 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- A crowd of people gathered in Millennium Park Sunday afternoon to break a world record.

TheTieBar.com invited people of all ages to rock a bow tie. Organizers were trying to break the Guinness World Record for the most bow ties tied at the same time by a group.

They chose Sunday because it's National Bow Tie Day.
