Listerine kills them.
“First, if you look at what kills spirochetes making plaque in your mouth, you will notice that the key ingredients include four essential oils present in products like Listerine.
Further, we have been working with biological chemists who are extracting a wide range of natural chemicals from various botanicals. Some grow bacteria and others kill bacteria but hurt human membranes. Others kill bacteria and are profoundly safe.”

Listerine kills them. Sorry, no. It doesn't. Trust me... we've been researching these bugs for five years. The doctor who's office I manage is one of the top impantologists in the world... and essential oils in Listerine just do not kill the spirochetes well enough to do the job. We wish it did.

Another thing that that link has wrong is his assertion that the essential oils will do anything to the plaques... he is wrong. There is only one thing that will affect the plaques in the mouth... that is the Sodium Hypochloritebleachthat is found in Clorox. It will dissolve it. Unfortunately it will also dissolve human skin.

Thanks for the link. As a long time Lyme sufferer I've battled the medical ignorance fed by some influential infectious dz docs. Lots of miles and many years of antibiotics for Lyme and Babesia leave me officially with Fibro and CFS and “permanently damaged nerves”. I pray for more study and truth when it comes to treating spirocheatal diseases.
