I really don't think the journalist/harlots at AP (Always Presstituting) see the humor in this blatant attempt to change the narrative from "Golfing while Rome burns" to "President On Top of Everything".

He was on the phone "within the HOUR"? Way to go there, Flash. When that 3:00 AM call comes in, you'll be awake and ready to start thinking of an excuse by 4:00.

Also, there's an AP photo at the link that, along with its caption (0bama with club in hand, on a mobile phone -- oohhh!) that strikes me, at least, as hilarious.

East Coast earthquake rattled the ground around him./

He wasn’t concerned about other people, he was concerned about himself and his family. Have no fear, I’m sure his first call was to the mansion.

d at the public Farm Neck Golf Club for several more hours.

I wonder if this public golf course was shut down to all others while the one was playing. Of course, the enemedia wouldn't tell us if it was. I heard on the radio over and over today that the earthquake was felt "as far north as Martha's Vineyard." I guess this was to make everyone feel that zer0 was very involved. gag

Told there had been no major damage reported, Obama resumed one of his favorite pastimes and stayed at the public Farm Neck Golf Club for several more hours.

A fine example of empathy and shared sacrifice.

Thank you, AP, for letting us know the President made a telephone call about the earthquake. Your stenographers, er..., reporters are doing a fine job letting us peons know President Obama is on top of matters pertaining to the earthquake as out here in America we wait with bated breath and whispering humbleness our President’s every move on our behalf.

Obama interrupted his Martha’s Vineyard golfing to announce that the Washington DC earthquake occurred on an obscure fault-line that runs under the White House and is known as “Bush’s Fault.”

Yes sir, we all agree with the risk of more seismic activity, you absolutely should shift to the Lob Wedge from the Pitching Wedge when chipping within 50 yds from the stick....but we will take the vote again just to make sure,...Tiger’s on the line sir...

President Barack Obama was just starting a round of golf when the East Coast earthquake rattled the ground around him.

Naturally, the triple bogey he got on that hole was caused by circumstances beyond Obama's control.

Told there had been no major damage reported

After a stimulus bill, Obamacare, Financial Reform and new EPA rules, there is nothing left to damage.

He had to come out and brief the press on how the earthquake was affecting his golf game:

“...then on the 7th hole, the ground moved a little while I was putting and it cost me a stroke. Then, on 8 I shanked the drive into the trees cause I was still a little ticked off about that putt...any more questions about my round?”

LOL! Good one. Meanwhile, there is always a better chance of prosperity when Washington is idle. Wish Zero would just spend the rest of his lame duck term playing golf.

Just a thought and kind of off topic but when he was elected there was talk of him having to have to give up his Blackberry. So why does he still have one?

And does any president having the ability to talk to anyone at anytime without people knowing who and what a good idea?
