LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Posters have gone up in the area of Spring Street and Lexington Road about Job, a 5-month-old kitten that has been reported missing.
Job was taken from the animal shelter, to the Woodstock Animal Foundation, to a local couple for adoption. The kitten is also blind.
Anyone with information is asked to call 502-553-5740 or 502-396-0974

Matthew 7:16
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
I know “nuts” and “flakes” when I see them.
Is that a reflection of your feelings? An animal (or human) in distress is never “entertaining,” and for you to suggest such an obviously ugly thought tells us all what kind of “person” you are.
Do us all a favor and stop trying to bait us. You are out-numbered, out gunned, and out of intelligent thought. And as for me, I will appreciate you much better if you don’t post to me again. You aren’t worth the replies you have gotten, even though you are smug in your posts.
:oþ
To quote you: spoil-sport
Did I or did I not ask you not to post to me again? Are you so dense and/or puffed up in your own ego that you can’t understand English?
You have no valid argument.
You are simply seeking to foment turmoil.
You are probably a Sleeper Troll.
Therefore, you need to leave FR.
And once again: DO NOT POST TO ME AGAIN, ON ANY THREAD. PERIOD.
Will you STOP posting to me!
I don’t want to be bothered with your anger on this thread or any other. Just stop!
You are the one who is angry. Go away.
Cats who have never been allowed outside, will find the nearest shelter and stay there. I would guess that is the same with a blind kitty. She has different senses and probably found a snuggly spot and remained there. I’ve read that these cats don’t even call out. YOU have to find them.
I had this experience with a very scaredy kitten who leaned against a screen door that was not locked — and out she went. I found her on one side of the house — the next day, and when I did see her, she stayed put, and never made a sound. Even shaking the snack bag didn’t get a reaction from her.
You have to look under every bush and behind every piece of anything and not give up. I pray they find Job.
You are a true animal lover! Thanks for your insight.
;o]
God willing you are right.
I think Grizzled Bear was referring to the fact that posting on a thread for the sole purpose of complaining about its presence is akin to disturbing the peace of those who are interested in the welfare of the animal. And frankly, I think you are fully aware that that is what was meant and are now grasping at straws. Those who have posted COMPASSIONATELY about the animal are clearly not entertained by his loss — nor do I think you honestly think that is the case.
“I was expecting that people of good will would step back and reconsider what the thread accomplishes. Evaluate the fruits...”
See post #21. Still awaiting your take on what’s wrong with it (post #18).
Grizzled Bear didn’t say “spoil-sport”.
Grizzled Bear just called me a moron and made various other insults.
I’m not a kitten, and I’m not blind, but I am missing!
Stop, just stop posting to me. Have pity.
Amen.
So you are anti-military and anti-kitten. Do you have any redeeming characteristics?
I’m praying that the kitty is found. I am also praying that people who think threads like this waste time and have other disgusting views reform themselves before it is too late.
After reading the rest of your responses in this thread, I think you have something seriously wrong with you. What made you this way? What made you so uncaring?
As a child, we had a cat wander onto our ranch that had had her eyes dug out; someone probably dumped her and did that out of cruelty or in a hope she would die fast. We watched her make her way to us over the pastures for days. She adopted us, along with so many barn cats you wouldn’t believe it, eventually having a litter of her own kittens. We never could get to terribly close to her; I probably persisted enough to sneak a few pets from time to time.
