I'm not against Perry, but a lot of people seem to be rushing the coronation.

It seems to me that the pro-Perry people are pushing hard and declaring the race finished in an effort to convince Sarah not to come in. Perhaps the Perry people worry about that matchup.

As much as I like Sarah Palin, I just don’t see the majority voting for a woman...times have not changed that much! Women like Sarah are paving the way nicely but America’s future woman President likely is not yet born.

Yep. The idea that if Palin were the candidate it would not be about issues, but if Perry were it would is just stupid.

And Perry doesn’t have a chance if he can’t beat Palin. She is the best political talent we’ve had in a generation and JR Perry simply isn’t.

I would think they feel she will only split the vote if she runs; but who knows?

I agree.

This thing hasn't even really gotten started yet.

It's far too early to be calling an election that won't take place for almost fifteen months.

The people rushing to coronation are those who have declared Palin would be POTUS in 2013 since 2008 and continue to do so no matter how many days, weeks or months tick by and no matter what candidates get in or out.

After months of fairly lifeless or non-credible candidates, people are excited to see someone else, someone fresh, someone high profile.

If Perry doesn't implode, I think Palin uses her influence just as she did in 2010. We can still end up with Romney and ultimately we can still lose to Obama no matter what candidate is put forward next fall.
